Each store caters to a specific market, including Romania, Spain, and various countries within the EU region, allowing the brand to tailor shopping experiences for local customers. With over 50 physical retail locations and a rapidly expanding online network, the company needed to unify and streamline its multi-store Shopify setup and operational workflows to support its continued growth.

The client sought a technology partner capable of improving operational efficiency, ensuring accurate inventory synchronization across multiple locations, and enhancing compliance with local fiscal regulations. Additionally, they needed ongoing support for custom feature development and automation within their Shopify Plus ecosystem.

Key Challenges That Had to Be Addressed

Multi-location Inventory Synchronization: CIN7 integration was limited to syncing only 30 locations per instance. With over 50+ physical stores, inventory synchronization between Shopify and CIN7 was inconsistent, causing stock discrepancies and fulfillment delays.
Regulatory Compliance (ANAF Integration): Romanian fiscal law requires automated invoice submission to ANAF, the national tax authority. Shopify’s native setup lacked direct compliance tools for this, requiring a secure, automated solution.
Custom Storefront and Section Development: Each regional storefront needed design flexibility to align with localized branding and promotional campaigns. Shopify’s out-of-the-box theme limitations made it challenging to maintain consistency while enabling customization.

Amazon seller integration: The client had no existing Amazon Seller account or Brand Registry, which delayed their entry into the Amazon marketplace and limited control over their brand.
